Would really love to play out some Rey/Poe. I play Rey and am hoping to find a Poe player that's interested.

I can't make any promises since I'm still really getting a feeling for playing Poe, but I'd be happy to try out a few shippy threads with them.

because how the characters regard one another can wind up entirely different, if not contradictory, to how you wind up shaping it.

trust me, that shit has an impact on your play, no matter how much you try to ignore it.

that's pretty much why i want to rp it. we got to see rey/finn, which i love and have great finns to play off of. but i also really liked poe and want to see what happens between them and that can only happen in rp right now. it's already an au and will be more so by the time episode 8 comes out but idc?

all the ships in this fandom appeal to someone and this one appeals to me. i just want to have fun rping it, that's all.

rp was made for this, lmao. scrolling over the list of requests so far, i think it's kind of funny that this is the one that set of the 'but why?' question.

i'm a poe who's played off a couple stellar reys and it's been a blast; their attitudes are so different and they're both capable of surprising the hell out of each other and they've already got a few common links between them so it's not like they're completely unfamiliar with each other anyway...

rping out what ifs has always been the big draw of rping so that's what i like doing.

i'm always more than willing to thread with another rey. c: i haven't done a terrible lot with him yet so he's basically been confined to a voice test post in my musebox, but i'm feeling decently confident with him by now. that said, feel free to pm me if you have any specific ideas, or have a link to something i could toss him into for you, or ... anything, honestly. i'm super new to fishing for rp partners via anoncomm so i'm not quite sure what the etiquette is, but this is me yelling yes please, let's do the thing super loud at my screen.

As the Poe who replied to OP, it's no different to me than any other pairing at this point, especially with Poe. We really don't see a lot of him. We (or at least I, personally) get a strong sense of personality, but there's no indication how he interacts with anyone in the long-term.

So. Will the dynamics probably be wrong when we see more in the next movie? Sure. But that doesn't mean it can't be explored. And, besides, it's casual fun.

So I play Sinjir Rath Velus, from the novel Aftermath, after Return of the Jedi. And I would love to play off of pretty much anyone.

Sinjir is an Imperial loyalty officer - so basically military secret police cracking down on dissension in the Imperial ranks. I can AU him to be a First Order psytech or officer. He also defects from the Empire after Endor, eventually finding himself caught up in an adventure to rescue Wedge Antilles. So he can also be working for the Rebellion (or the Resistance).

I'm up for either time period, AUs, whatever, Sinjir getting somehow transported to the future (frozen in carbonite??), all kinds of things. Sinjir is cynical, a badass, and a bit of a drunk, and a very talented torturer. Shippy things? Absolutely, though Sinjir is canonically gay, and not into the ladies. Plotty? I'm so into it.

Mostly I'm sending out feelers to see if anyone would be interested in threading off of a loyalty officer or ex-loyalty officer.
