I can't speak for Jex, but I'm one of the people that occasionally tags with Phase. Aside from once or twice having to mute plurks where she says something I disagree with, she's been a joy to interact with OOC and I haven't encountered any issues. Everything on wankgate and rpanons with her was way overblown, tbh.

New anon. I found her characters to be pretty OOC in the past, though not any in this game. I also think that just muting "problematic" (not in tumblr definition) things and a "joy" otherwise is part of the issue. It doesn't hold her accountable for her literally disgusting behavior and just because you mute and don't comment doesn't mean you're not part of the problem. If most of the game is like this, I can see why it's not getting any new blood and looks to be dying.

How is the game dying? It's been growing and there are more player plots and activity every months.

Ayrt. Read what I said, looks to be. I checked the comms and they looked really slow. I'm not trying to scream dead, imply it is, or start wank about that. Please focus on the actual issues with your game (Phase and Jex and people who apologize for them even if not directly by accepting them with open arms and a shrug) and not some offhanded comment that is about perception and not actuality.

If it's hit a slow lull and I didn't realize it then whatever. Who cares about that when you've got two people who are literally banned preemptively from almost every game in yours?

Yes, her outright saying that America is dead because the Supreme Court did their job and granted teh evul gayz rights is overblown.

It's really too bad. This game looks fun and cute and right up my alley. Even if the mods allow it, if the player base is largely OK with her and Jex then that really makes it unwelcoming. For whatever reason they seem to think it makes them welcoming and open by accepting people despite their past transgressions but that's really not the case.

Games like Route 29 are known for being welcoming, easy, friendly, and kind of starter games while also being great for older players and yet I know they're both banned from Route and it takes A LOT to be banned from R29.

No idea who Jex is, and I have no idea how long ago Phase wank happened. For as long as I've been in the game, she hasn't shown any questionable or hateful behavior IC or OOC. People change. Sorry we're not waving our torches and pitchforks to your liking.

Her opinions are actively harmful to others, backwards and hateful, and mindsets like hers have caused people throughout our history so much difficulty, pain and suffering.

Phase is a racist, anti-choice, and anti-homosexuality. She should be a pariah because no one should be giving her their time, but because she still has people willing to play with her she feels no guilt.

This isn't a questionable coworker you have to put up with, this is a hobby and you have made a choice to keep a hateful person in your social circle and enable them in doing so.
