This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

what do you do with (your own) starters in your musebox that no one ever ended up responding to? delete them or keep them? if you'd choose to delete it, how long would you wait before doing so?

(the easy answer is "it's your musebox, do whatever the fuck you want" but i'm not looking for advice, i'm just curious about what everyone else tends to do in this situation!)

i go through and delete stuff that got less than ten tags every 6 months or so. if i think i'll reuse the starter i might save it elsewhere or not delete it

bitch, please, people don't come and go from my musebox like it's some common alley cat door flap. i invite whom i choose and they should feel lucky to see my previous single long-ass-thread posts with players i deign worthy to tag with consistently. (this would probably sound better in an elderly british drag queen's voice but you do you)

anyway, i don't delete content, but i do manage the privacy levels of my musebox as well as members from time to time. i picked up the habit from a few players i admire.

delete em, i only keep posts with content on them. most of my starters are very specifically tailored anyway, so reusing them would probably not work. i pm the player once ~2 weeks into waiting on a reply, and if i don't hear from them, delete it about a week later. keeping it around would just remind me to be annoyed about flakiness.
