rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. as someone who's been having a good time in this game and doesn't really mind that we've gotten a little small, I do wish that our recent anoncomm presence wasn't just constant fearmongering about the game's imminent closure. apps are open until the 10th. like, what is an overly-dramatic comment like "FIVE APPS. FIVE" supposed to accomplish?

we'll get to vote on more frequent app rounds this month. there's still plenty of people invested and playing and I have lots of opportunity for plot and branching out. the apocalyptic talk is just getting a little tiresome, that's all, especially when from where i'm standing, i've got tons of great things going on.

it can be pretty disheartening to see such diminished interest. which doesn't necessarily mean the game is in imminent danger no but i think it's understandable people are wringing their hands.

I understand the worry, but imo that is the kind of thing better left on your plurk.

yeah, i totally understand that! I just don't really get how coming here and being overly-dramatic and insistent about how the game is going under is supposed to help. blah blah yes we're here on rpanons but let's be real it's kind of dumb.

A mixture of needing to explode about it somewhere that everyone could see, and a hope that people would assuage their fears? Alternately, some kind of bitterness and a hope to scare others into dropping?
