rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. House of Saud aside, anon, most of the issues in that region were definitely caused by Western meddling in their geopolitics following the fall of the Ottomans. Britain at first, and then America and Russia during the Cold War, basically Ruined Everything.

that's a pretty dangerously oversimplified summary, but I would definitely recommend on reading up on everything we've done to fuck up middle eastern geopolitics well prior to Bush Jr.
