Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

GIFTS FOR YOU NERDS

Poshmark. New users get $10 credit when they use the referral code JHRVE. Shipping is $5 so as long as you purchase an item under $5 it’s free. (You have to enter your card # but it doesn’t charge you.) The user @leanne433 has pop funkos for sale for $11. That means you only have to pay $6 per pop funko including shipping. There’s also a ton of great make-up items.

BeautyKind. Image Use this link and you get $25 worth of brand name make-up so as long as you keep your order under $25 your make-up is free and you pay 5.95 shipping and handling.

Boomgift. Download the app using referral code 4785cd6 and the tasks are worth 2x as much. It’s ridiculously easy to get $3-$5 amazon gift cards.

Rebate apps like ibotta (referral code: ytlwkug), mobisave, checkout 51 will save you hella money on grocery items you already buy. I’ve earned over $60 over the past 2-3 months just buying stuff like like bread and milk. All you have to do is scan your receipts.

Jet.com. Order asics fit sana short or slub tank on jet.com and and use promo code save10 for free clothes. You can add a filler item like jerky or pocky for free shipping.

Yerdle. Sign up for yerdle app using link Image for $50 credit and free shipping lots of cheap items you can search for. (Want more to spend? Refer yourself as soon as someone signs up you get extra $$ but free shipping only applies to your first order.)

Schoola.com get $20 of free clothes with this link Image

In my experience, rebate apps aren't worth it (I'm going to leave checkout51 as soon as I can cash out and ibotta I installed and promptly uninstalled), but the others look interesting.

I've made $70 in the past 3 months alone on Ibotta and MobiSave delivers the rebate straight to your paypal and then to your bank for free. Checkout 51 I don't use much because it takes forever to reach the cash out amount.

Technically $67 but you get my point.

I feel like I save more by not shopping the stuff Ibotta wants me to get to start with. I don't remember now what the offers were when I checked it out, but they were just not worth it for me and the preferences for the app weren't working right. Still, it's cool it's working out for you.

You have to shop with the sales, yeah. But the general items add up, too (e.g. any brand milk, eggs, etc.)

i've never used rebate apps before, is it just that you take a picture of your receipt, put it into each of those three apps, and they calculate money earned for you?

It depends on the app.

MobiSave: Make sure you put it in your "cart" on the app before you purchase it. Then upload the receipt and select the item(s) you purchased.

Ibotta: Select the item, do a small task like watch a short video or do a one question survey. Then scan the barcode on the item and upload your receipt. It's ridiculously easy to get enough to cash out on Ibotta though.

Check thekrazycouponlady.com for good deals like right now cranberry juice is on mobisave for $1 and Walmart has it on sale for $1. That means free cranberry juice.

GOOD LUCK

nice, thank you! i'm pretty strapped for cash right now, this sounds like a good amount of effort to put in for it.

I highly recommend it also you should look into couponing I can't believe how much I used to pay for stuff (e.g. all the cereal in my pantry right now was .25 each and I can't imagine paying over $1 a box now). Krazy Coupon Lady up there is an amazing place to start. I just print digital coupon and do rebates.

I also use Snap by Groupon, Checkout 51, Receipt Hog, and the Walmart Savings Catcher. I've gotten about $10 from Walmart in the past month and I always forget about the other 3.
