Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I kept finding people who ppayed my character's canon love interest here, but our prefs were always incompatible. Some of them didn't want to play the character as that orientation, while the others wanted only really extreme kinks I was uncomfortable with. I ended up giving up and then just finding someone who played a canon OC, who turned out to be an amazing writer and being really compatible with me.

Anyone else have any surprises?

I dropped a RP because the player's responses were bland as plain toast, when they weren't doing that thing where someone regurgitates a big chunk of what you just wrote. There wasn't any kind of blow-out, I just ghosted, as one does on F-List.

Two years later, I had a completely different account, and sent a note to someone playing that same character. I didn't realize it was them until I happened to check my note history, because I'm lazy and never clean that out.

They're really great now, and I'm having a lot of fun with our RP.
