rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Wild is still one of my favorite songs ever. I put a Poe song on almost every fanmix I do...I just love her so much.

And I have no idea, but people like Florence & the Machine have such little hints of her in their music that it would just be hard for me not to believe that there isn't some influence (or that Welch doesn't at least appreciate her work).

You know she was in Repo! did vocals for the cd right?

it grew on me a whole lot! my immediate favorite was Spanish Doll and, of course, Haunted itself because damn. and that's funny, I also tend to wind up with Poe vocals (if not her own songs) on a good number of my own fsts which is kind of ironic considering where this whole conversation stemmed from and the one i'm working on now but uh

you have good taste in music, anon, and i'm happy you exist. i'd definitely believe it! you're right, though, i'd be super shocked if it wasn't the case. i've heard some pretty varied artists credit her over the years; that her musical presence was so brief and was snuffed out like it was just burns my biscuits, damn.

i do! recognized her voice immediately and made a noise that had nothing to do with how great the music itself was. there was a moment in time i got excited because she worked with danny elfman again for some robot boxing movie (even if it wasn't like, a real song like she'd done for him in anywhere but here) back in 2011 ... but afaik she hasn't shown up since other than that lone mysterious ptch thing.

I am happy you exist as well. I am glad we can bond over this, and people remember her! And that there are other people who still check to see if she is putting out new stuff. Yeah besides the PTCH thing...

Who knows. It's a terrible thing and not horribly uncommon in the music industry, sadly I mean it's not the same thing, but look at how Kesha/Ke$sha is stuck in courts currently.

I just hope maybe one day we'll get something new and great. Even if she somehow is able to release the demo stuff that was stuck in legal hell for all the time. I'd love to hear it.
