Though, I'll be pledging for a digital copy for now since I don't know if I personally love Root Double enough to pledge for, say, a physical copy or another higher-tier reward rn. Maybe I'll consider increasing my pledge for the stretch goal rewards later on? Otherwise, yeah.

is it just me or is root double's art similar to that generic, dated art style you see in a lot of galge

i get there are galge that are exceptions to this (kara no no shojo, for example) and in no way is this me claiming galge is inferior to other genres but

i swear this art style is common even among more recent games with maybe some slight differences in how each artist does the face/hair and coloring

nah, it is pretty generic? but it wasn't like ever17 had super unique art, either.

tbf that game came out in 2002 so the dated, generic art is to be expected. however, it's another thing when you see that generic style in any game after 2007.

like i could get if any game out there with that generic style were all by the same company who reuses the same artist and/or colorist(s), but that's not even the case here since it seems to be an "industry standard" thing

tbh i feel the art would look less slightly generic if they changed the coloring by just a bit

is it me or do the tier prices above the 60 dollar digital/physical copy tier come off as unreasonable
