Does anyone RP from this at all? I know the characters are super fleshed out, but I adore the setting and want to do something with it you know?

i don't play from it, but ia that the souls series has such great worldbuilding. i'd love it if it could possibly be translated to a game in some way but i doubt that could be pulled off.

Something similar might work with Bloodborne, it's got decent reasons for a jamjar setting and I adore the world of it myself even more than the other Souls game, but I'm biased toward Old One based lore.

Maybe a sandbox of some sort?

There've been a couple of folk around on d_m and d_p, and I occasionally hit up bakerstreet too, but it's hard finding the right meme.

i have djura and gascoigne and lots of dark souls accounts. you can rp them with some headcanon. i keep mine to psls, though.

I'd like to try Gehrman someday, but only in memes or psls. I've seen some main character ocs and the plain doll here and there.

I would love to. I've considered something of a sandbox/musebox setting for Bloodborne that can take OCs or AU to mix things up.

Dark Souls could translate into Bloodborne I'd think, although a Dark Souls based sandbox isn't a bad idea either.

There's enough interest here to drum up something, would any of you guys be down for a musebox/sandbox Bloodborne game? OCs and canon AU to, there's more than just hunters after all.

why not both? don't see why we should exclude one game considering they're all sort of tied together

I haven't finished the game yet, but I'd love something like this. I keep thinking how great a setting Yharnam would be for those horror-themed games that DW loves so much.

no one plays soulsborne because they're s-so hard and scary!!! that and jrpg anime trash dominates dwrp as far as gaymin goes so. bloodborne lore would only give the majority of dwrp so much insight and head writhing.

uh plenty of dwrpers play soulsborne it's just not discussed very much around here i'm guessing because it's a small and scattered fandom and the lore's been discussed to death on sites that lend better to such discussing

it's not even elitism, i feel like anon just worded it kinda bluntly? idk in my four years of dwrping i have never met anyone outside of two people who either knows or actively plays soulsborne games. i might've possibly added the wrong people, but idk there's not that many players here on dw that dip into niche games with a steep learning curve i guess. :/

I think there are a decent number of us, we're just all kind of scattered.

I mean I have over 70 people on my plurk timeline, for example, and all of... 3 people enjoy Soulsborne, except not quite on the level that I do (into lore discussions and such). This isn't really the right place for it, I know, but I'd personally love to get together and... I guess talk lore or something. I mean, I occasionally poke around on the BB subreddit, but having some folk a little "closer to home" would be nice, you know?

I've been dying to mess around with a Bloodborne AU for my characters

Especially since I've only watched LPs and would feel weird playing the canon characters oops

watched the newest VaatiVidya lore video and I'm all geeked out on Maria... and then I get geeked out on how much I love all the female cast of this game... and then I realize the male cast is super strong too, just.

I have a lot of positive feelings about how this games handles gender

I really want to make a Maria account and have a sick-awesome-ladies pow wow with the female cast
