rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. but, sorry, just checking one more time: did you want to play alphinaud, then? i'm seriously fine with doing either, in the end. pick whatever you're most comfortable with. i need to make a journal either way.

it kind of surprises me that it isn't shipped at all. alphinaud is seriously all over the warrior of light, constantly praising them... at one point in the dravanian forelands, estinien teases him for acting like a worried girlfriend or whatever (re: ravana fight). alphinaud is my favorite character, so i was like, hell yeah.

yeah, actually, i have. and by a kid. you don't smack a kid in the face, no matter what they've done. you don't sign up to be a special needs teacher, then flip out on the kids who are special needs. you don't go into that job not expecting to deal with kids with a lot of problems and who can and do react to things violently. you know that going in. frustrated or not, as the adult in the situation, smacking a kid in the face is a huge no. they deserved to get fired and depending on what kind of slap it was, i'd even suggest the parents charge them.

I'd totally sign on to help mod this. I'm so into the lore of the universe and I think the factions and potential for player and mod plots would open up some really interesting interactions and doors to some great CR. I have way too much on my plate to spearhead that kind of thing or act as a head mod type in any capacity but it's a really cool idea.

clearing out the pantry chili: this is a perfect recipe if you've got beans or tomato sauce you need to use. plus, it's stupid easy so things can be substituted, added in, so on and so forth. the base of the chili is any sort of beans (I generally use black, red, and pinto, either canned or dried-then-soaked work, but if you're using canned make certain to drain them well) plus anything else you want to add (I generally use onions and jalapeno peppers). any kind of meat can be used also, just make certain to blot it as best you can if you're using beef or turkey. put all this in a bigass pot, cover with tomato sauce or leftover pasta sauce. I like my chili less soup-y so I generally pour enough in so that it almost but doesn't cover the fixins, but if you want to add a little more, you totally can. for spices, I generally use a packet of McCormick chili powder, but you can totally season to taste with chili powder, black pepper, cayenne, etc. Cook the chili on medium for a few minutes then put a lid on the pot and let it simmer for a half hour or until you get damn hungry. eat with cornbread or crackers. The best part of this is it can make a LOT so congrats, you have dinner for tomorrow and the day after.

if you need to bring a lot of something for an event or something like that, this recipe isn't that hard and makes four dozen cookies. also, I need to share y'all the wonders of pimento cheese. It's a pound(ish) of sharp cheddar cheese, three tablespoons of mayo, and one 4 ounce jar of pimentos, mix all of that up together and wham, you've got basic pimento cheese. put it on crackers or a sandwich, add in extras like red pepper or onion if you want, you can do all sorts of things with this. the important thing is, the pimento cheese needs to be a thick enough consistency that you could stick a cracker in there and scoop up some pimento cheese. if it's too soup-like, add more cheddar.

I'm done with GoT simply because everything is so... expected. Sansa's rape was so predictable, like she's been dodging that bullet since the very beginning. I felt no tension there. It's felt like a gross thing for the sake of a gross thing happening ever since it aired. "Historical accuracy" doesn't excuse bland and expected writing, especially with female characters. It didn't benefit the story at all, it was just another stinger (which is a horrible thing to describe rape as holy fucking shit). Good job, the moment made me hate characters I already hate? Why is this here? What does this add to the story?

I'm just checked out on the series at this point.
