rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i've wanted to do it ever since heavensward, man.

i don't care if it's m/m or m/f, and i can do vanilla fluff or explicit smut. but i'll warn you that, like... while i could get the gist of playing alphinaud, i'd really struggle with his dialogue (it's so fancy and particular). plus, i've never played him before, so i'd have to figure him out on the fly. yikes. with those caveats in mind, i could give it a shot... just don't expect a miracle.

but, for reference, my warrior of light would be a hyur midlander male. astrologian main. also a con artist that somehow got swept up by destiny. here's an example of his irreverence from the r&d airship contest.

why do people even bother "cleaning" things if they're gonna do a half assed job of it

like how can you possibly look at this still dirty dish/carpet/floor/whatever and think "Yep I have done a good enough job to clean this item" when there's still visible dirtiness

I'm still more interested in OUs being ported in than AUs, and I think structure wise it would probably shape out the way eachdraidh was at its height. Characters would probably naturalize, but if you really thought the 'must get home' would be a problem, maybe take a route like the character was approached by the traveller in a weird dream and agreed to come help, or the traveller appeared at their canon world and they signed up to help that way somehow.

Sci-fi and space games have been running in ljrp and dwrp for a really long time so I don't think it's missed the boat. I've been hankering for more fantasy based games as much as the next person, but I still think a destiny game would be cool, and it has a fusion of sci fi and magic and mythology which would make it different and appealing.

Huh. It'd do the exact opposite for me. Excitement's one thing, but the "one true RP partner" vibe weirds me the fuck out.

as someone who does this: i honestly just don't notice mess. i assume you don't understand how that's possible, because my stepdad doesn't, and my answer to him is "well, i don't understand how you notice that the shoes are in the wrong place when they're in the vicinity of the door, which is their place."

correction: i don't notice low levels of mess. there is a threshold where i consider it mess, it's just presumably a lot higher than yours.

Tea for Two is afflicted with yaoi anatomy, but the writing is surprisingly great and the characters are endearing. It was worth cringing at some of the art, tbh.

different standards of cleanliness.

for some people, "this dish has been scrubbed and there are a couple of hard water spots on it" is clean, for some people that's "there are SPOTS on my DISH"
