rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I have this thing where I can't tag anything until I get the one tag I'm anticipating the most. It keeps screwing things up because the tags I want most are from a PSL with a slow partner. I know I need to just suck it up and do my tags, but it's hard to for some reason.

Thank you too! I'm a bit iffy about the mandatory smut but it does tie into the setting well... and it looks like there's a lot to do besides threading sex. Sounds pretty interesting.

I love that point in a game where you can ship-bait with a number of characters but loathe actually settling into a ship and closing those doors. Mostly because OOCly players will get precious about it, and I only want maximum drama ICly.

If I were your partner and knew you looked forward to my tags this much it'd make me prioritize you tbh. Having a partner who's actually excited to thread with me goes a long way toward keeping me invested in our PSLs.

oh my god same, i thought i was the only one... it's a really bad habit, i end up going days without doing tags if the thread i'm most in love with takes a break. i don't let myself do it TOO often, but it still creeps in sometimes.

while I am okay with how things are, I too would love some more pvp. I'd adore some legitimate negative cr and it growing from that, or having alike monsters form instinctual rivalries with others. like a gang of harpies swooping people or manticores in the park, or werewolves cooperating to take down groups of campers or bigger monsters.

Mystery stories. I am a gamer, for the most part, so ultra bonus points if it's in video game form. But I'll also take recs for books, movies, etc.

If I ran it I wouldn't do it AU? Characters would wake up like they do in the game, their ghost having found them in Russia. Only they're canon characters who have no idea how they got there. So I guess it'd be a jamjar set up, only the map would still be as huge (if not huger) than the destiny one, not contained to a small area or city or anything. They could take their jump ship and try to fly home I guess but they'd probably run out of fuel and die or something.

I do this, too! I try not to let it interfere with my tagging too much since my most anticipated tags also come from someone who's on the slow side, but habits are hard to break.

she's been getting negative responses whenever she draws mettaton/napstablook. not always hate, but there's been more than a few comments that amount to "you're drawing cousins as a ship, so you condone/enable incest rape IRL too".

moa's own explanation focused a lot on that and how the people saying that to her 1. are mostly americans who ignore that cousin marriage is legal in most of the world (pointing out that it's basically ignoring/attacking other cultures), 2. ignore that we don't even know if "cousins" means "biologically related" for the ghosts (or even how they'd reproduce, if they can at all) and 3. jump from fluffy art to shipping of the wants-to-see-these-characters-have-sex kind.

I know it's not a Thing anymore but good god I wish there was a Suikoden anime. Done by whoever animated the opening for III. Maybe we'd actually get some resolution for the storyline fuck you konami and your fucking pachinko games

and def do agree that Shiei no Sona-Nyl would be the easiest to do if only because of its all-ages port. Maybe someday if Liar-soft decides to port the PSP version to Vita?

The dragon age cast.

Stay relatively simple and crop somewhat closer to the face than you'd like to get a cleaner image at 100x100. Really consider what kind of facial expressions your character makes; being able to express that in a few lines can make for a more clear end image.

That also applies to the 15 end images. The resources give a good general list but some characters list more towards one range of emotions than another, so you might want to sub in another kind of 'happy' or 'grumpy' or whatever works. I also gauge what icons I want to make off of recent threads, and keep making new ones every so often to refresh what I've got and purge the shit icons I made when the journal was still new and I didn't have as good a handle on the character.

The smut AC is pretty generous, I've found. New appers have three whole months before 10 comments of smut comes due. If porn games aren't your thing then no problem, but it's a small, friendly game and easy to keep up with. c:
