i've only ever heard "prose" used to describe a format of writing, like prose vs. brackets. "tag" is what everyone i know uses. i've never heard someone use "pose".

This is rich considering who this is coming from. Normally I'd be sympathetic because god knows that otome games rarely get translated but not with this person.

It sounded like there would be a picky choice in Nika actually handing the game over. Not anyone would be handed the comms, and with so few people actually willing to mod well....

I don't know why they didn't replace begin replacing mods as previous ones left, tbqh. people crit the modteam on this last hmd and I agree, instead of trying to divvy-up the remaining jobs between the existing team, they should have taken on new hands. if they'd done that, maybe the current team wouldn't have burnt out/would have been able to leave and been replaced one at a time instead of the game suddenly closing like this. poor decisions all around.

They're someone who threw a fit when it was revealed that Mangagamer had licensed Ozmafia and threatened to boycott it. And IIRC, they're still not going to buy it. They wanted to try to convince Poni-pachet to give the license to someone else because they object some of the stuff that Mangagamer has licensed.

Which fine, whatever, I can totally understand not caring or being put off by some of the stuff they've released. But when you're actively complaining about how otome games never get translations and don't want to support one of the few companies that are actively trying to bring them over then I'm finding it a bit hard to sympathize with you.

They also pitched a fit over Mangagamer saying that NTY could appeal to gay men when they were advertising it and complained about how women can't get anything to themselves. They also got into a argument with Good Haro over it.

And they also had another tantrum when it was revealed Kindred Spirits was going to be released uncensored on Steam claiming that it's now a porn store.

Basically they're a very unpleasant person.

I think they just wanted to be done with the whole thing, tbh. Too much work to sort their shit out and they were probably feeling discouraged and burnout on top of it in addition to RL issues.

This. The call for help should have come months ago, well before they were put in the position they eventually wound up in. If nothing else, I hope they learned from their mistakes and wish them the best in future endeavors.
