rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. this current plot is fucking annoying and boring and angsty, and legitimately bothering people who have problems with body horror. Not to mention it started at the worst possible time of the year for most people. Oh, and it's dragging on way too long, and aforementioned angstiness is starting to drain a lot of people's RP drives from what i've seen. there's no real way for people who don't want to deal with the angst or body horror elements to opt out so they're just stuck twiddling their thumbs from the sidelines and waiting it out.

that's about it, though. i feel like once this metaplot is over things will be business as usual.

Teen Wolf. My best friend and I still watch it so we can cringe and laugh at the poor choices the show has made. I used to RP from the show on Tumblr, but the fandom is just too batshit and I had to back out of there for fear of becoming infected.

I like it a lot and I like everyone in it. sometimes there are decisions between players that raise an eyebrow, but they usually don't concern me and on the whole I'm really enjoying it

I also wish people were faster, but that's on me for being impatient and having too much free time.

they claim every character they can is asexual (but don't worry they remember to slap the homoromantic/biromantic labels on those icky lgbt people) and are obnoxious about it to the point where they'll reblog gifsets celebrating lgbt characters in da while tacking on a gif they made themselves for the poor widdle asexual character intentionally left out by the evil allo op.

and yeah i've seen that actually happen. it was very embarrassing and i felt bad for the op.

they whine like typical tumblr asexuals do, that they're just as oppressed as lgbt people and that bioware is evil for not making having asexual romances their top priority. they'll do something like claim a character is a biromantic asexual but never reblog/make any content of that character that isn't m/f (a subset of one particular character's fandom was/is notorious for this). they're crazily protective over the one canonical chaste character (notice i say chaste, not asexual) to the point where if that character is criticized they claim it's actual discrimination against asexual people.

there's other things i'm sure but i can't remember since it's been awhile since i've been active in the dragon age fandom.

a lot of things, but the most annoying/loud complaints are Solas's canon sexuality, also none of the LIs have an asexual romance path option

dorian's not asexual but i swear you can choose to not have sex with him

is the "biromantic asexual but only m/f" character merrill? i'm trying to think which character you could be talking about

nah it's solas, merill m/f wasn't very popular on tumblr from what i remember. the asexual solas brigade was legit batshit from what i remember.

Basically this. They can't handle being called out for being blatantly homophobic, also thinking Sebastian is ace is hilarious because he clearly isn't in, like, the two seconds of content his romance gets
