Let me break it down for you:
Over the last month or so, the attention paid to bakerstreet was getting ludicrous, to the point that people kept posting links to top levels or replies that had nothing wrong with them other than someone didn't like an icon, a character, or a preference. A lot of people on wg told them to shut up, but spergs gonna sperg.

Someone then decided to 'make a list', and mecha_sosa was born, bringing up all the 'flakes' they counted, aka people that hadn't replied to anything on one or two memes. They dubbed them daughters of Neko and most of their list consisted of Koke's chars. They got smacked down for being overinvested and idiotic, and then sperging happened yet again with more meme shit being brought up, to the point where bakerstreet ground to a halt since the sin of even posting a top level was getting linked to WG. I don't know if it was mecha_sosa or just the trolls trolling, but this 'who's this account? who is this? is this dominus? is this antman? jesse?' got out of hand and that would be when Denise sent the letter to the WG mods. We went on a sock vacation, things were said, and most people actually were okay with the new rules because deets are deets and shitstirring is shitstirring.

But there's that contingent of 'you can't tell me where I can shit' trolls that have decided they're gonna sperg where they wanna sperg and they've dragged it over here. End of story.

eppy only recently trailed after her friends into playing from two video game franchises, assassins creed being neither of them. she didn't make an ezio account in 2012 and reach 2,000 comments on it in communities she never goes on. dominus is not eppy.

but it doesn't matter. let's say someone does close down bakerstreet, sws, www. people are just going to open alternate versions because people like their memes and their shitty drs to go shit up. you can't dictate what is and what isn't allowed on a site you don't own/control. at least this way you know where everyone is and what they're doing. why would you want to scatter that?
