rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I play Luke from any point in the original trilogy, and I've a host of things I'd love to do with him, including but not limited to:

-OT shenanigans with Han, Leia, Ben, Darth, side characters, novel characters, anyone. Broships, romance, family drama, anything. [note: I'm not above shipping things which should not be shipped, mostly because no one knew and whose fault is that? I like the idea Luke and Leia have to have the most awkward convo at some point. That said, it's not remotely a requirement and I'm just as happy not going there.]

-Timeline-breaking things with TFA people. Luke and Rey, Luke and the new Resistance, Luke meeting Kylo or old!OT trio or anything, whether it's in a nebulous space or an AU or someone's sent back/forward through time.

-AUs where things go a different way, dark-side wise, or Leia's actually the Jedi, or Luke is bad and Kylo's good, idk just spitballing here

-Ships/romance--I am open to anything from Luke is ace to Luke is inexperienced and needs to be taught to Luke is a secret farmboy slut who takes people in with his innocent-looking face. Also pretty comfortable with various pairings.

-Other random things you want to throw at me, I'll definitely take under consideration

freya from ix, brother, lenne, and wakka from x/x2, and lightning from xiii.

freya is one i really would like to play again since she was the one i started in ljrp with as a teen back in highschool and i was terrible with her. it's been ten years and i'd really like to give her a try again one day and not be terrible.

but i'd also like to start playing lightning in games again, but i still need to play xiii-2 and lightning returns first, unless people don't mind that i'm taking her from xiii's canonpoint.

i'm so angry that the fates special edition is sold out because all i really wanted was the 3 in one cartridge.

Bear with me here: do you think it's possible to anon-mod an invite-only game?

I've never started one/played in one, but I want to keep my game small for maximum player involvement/customization and hard caps have been hit-or-miss...invites seem a logical way to keep the game growing organically. Thoughts?

"a little like"? it's obvious at least a couple of the mods are glued to rpa/wg. i'm not gonna shit on them for that, but they make it pretty obvious. there's such a thing as gradually implementing changes.

games dominated by live action

mostly because i play teen characters from shonen shows including sports anime and live action players constantly bitch that they hate those and don't want to play with them here

none of them are the loud childish idiot type but i'm not going to bother risking getting kneejerk snubbed

i keep thinking about just quietly making adult au expy ocs with live action pbs to avoid the snobbery since a few of the games that really interest me are live action dominated

it does happen on both sides, as someone who's played both la and anime, but in my experience la is more likely to snub anime than vice versa

a lot of my anime characters in games wind up with minimal la cr, even when i seek out and tag la characters; my la characters tend to have a mix of la and anime cr that's pretty close to the proportions of each in the game

i suspect the reason is that anime players who avoid la usually do it because they think the player won't be interested in them, so tagging out makes a big difference

whereas la players who avoid anime usually do it because they don't like anime and/or expect annoying anime stereotype cr, so they don't want to play with you even if you tag out

(and before you ask, no, it's not an age thing, my characters are mostly in their 20s and 30s regardless of medium)

Do you have an actual source that isn't prone to making shit up for victim points?

over a year ago I asked a game-mate if they'd like to psl and they said yes. me = happy. I loved their char/writing and I thought our chars were great together. we thrashed out a meaty a+ scenario (they did a huge amount of input and it was perfect), I was super excited to play with them, for the scene, the poss development and where it might lead to. we started and passed just a handful of comments when my rl changed drastically. I communicated the change but had to drop all rp and slowly disappeared off the rp scene.

I still think about this psl, how much fun it could have been and regret the lost potential. they were excellent to play with and the psl was everything I'd been looking for with a great writer. now that rl has calmed, I'd like to get back into rp with something low impact.

anons, how weird would it be to reach out after so long to see if the psl could be picked up again? chances are they forgot about it or labelled me a huge flake already and I know what the answer would be, but what would you do? forget it and move on or figure you got nothing to lose?

and no misandry-mermaid and anything by salon does not count as an actual source.

Faffy is a better source then these three, and that's only by comparison.

Your art is unbelievably gorgeous! I love your style so much.

And I'd love one of my obscure book character here as well, if you still have time and motivation after the other requests. Just looking through his icons at his PB is probably enough idea? The only other detail is that he should look melancholy.
