rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Better. Other players have shown a very shallow understanding of the character. They seem to think a bad accent and pissy attitude is all the characterization that's needed. (And can they please stop writing dialogue 100% phonetically, it's fucking painful to read and the character's accent is not that pronounced.)

About the same and honestly I think that's the average for a lot of rpers, even ones that think they're better than the others.

I also actually kind of like seeing players that are better than me because I like reading their stuff and like seeing if they're hitting character notes I missed.

So? I know I'm better and I'm not threatened by other people playing the same characters.

for one of the few i am not, i do remember seeing someone whose app i read and it was almost entirely objectively wrong, down to the things that couldnt be spelled out more clearly in canon

i seem to recall coming across spooky jamjar in reference to the white chamber, but idk if it came from that, or was coined by a review, or coined later to describe the concept of "stuck somewhere scary" and used to describe the game retroactively

I like this too. Different people pull out different traits more than others in characters, so it's fun to see if what you think is a defining trait isn't something someone else thinks is a defining trait. Use that to play better.

a pc port for bloodborne

yeah i know it'll never happen but i really can't afford a ps4 so i keep just going into the game store whenever i'm at the mall to stare at bloodborne and see if there's actually a half-decent bundle

this fact is the bane of my life because i fucking despise carrots sticks and the other raw veggies people recommend as snacks

It needs to be fairly balanced in terms of mediums and character age range or I don't even bother digging deeper into the game. I like a good mix of drawn mediums+LA+vidya, and because most of my active characters are over 25/30 and I'm not interested in RPing babysitting, I need other adults to interact with. Doesn't really matter if there's large casts in the game. Chances are slim I'd have any castmates myself.

Why have a game full of monsters who need humans to survive without planting populations of humans to sustain them?! This can only lead to anarchy.

cross-canon ships are the best when they work out because they're so unexpected.

working! i got a call on friday for temp filing work at a nearby hospital

i worked there for a while before christmas so it's nice to be wanted back. while it's not my preferred kind of work (my degree is languishing), it pays pretty well and i can get a ride there and back on a free bus service so i'm not losing a chunk of wages on transport costs

the only thing i'm not looking forward to is the foot/leg/back pain, but now i know how to prepare and recuperate until my body gets used to it again

i'm playing a rare character who i've only seen one other journal for, and we are about the same ic. i give them props for that.

however, imo, they have shitty icons and a really obnoxious HYPERACTIVE HI OMG ALL THE THINGS personality ooc so i'm cooler.

i feel especially guilty because my lack of tags is down to feeling like i can't live up to the people i'm threading with

yeah, i know, get over myself and just tag, but the stage fright is real

i also hate carrots and celery sticks, but there are options if you want to try something new. try making kale chips! they're really easy and they're nice and crunchy without being junky like a potato chip. hummus is a nice option, as are avocados with salt and pepper, but be careful with those because they're pretty high in calories. i had some kind of zucchini fries once that were really good and im sure there are recipes around the internet... but, yeah, if raw vegetables are completely off the table, there are some really simple and easy recipes out there.
