thoughts on a potential fourth wall event?

personally i'm torn. i don't really want a huge event in december when i know a lot of people are gonna slow down, but i'm also not a fan of fourth wall events since you either get nothing but joke characters or people who'll drop the thread three tags in.

does this mean we'd get a tdm in january too when apps actually open? they might as well open apps in december if this is what they're planning.

read a little more carefully anon. it would be in January with/instead of the tdm it sounds like

weh mods didn't open apps when i wanted them to!! the game is dying without new blood!

the last like three fourth wall event I did (admittedly a long time ago) i got mostly, yes, dropped threads but hardly any joke characters. They were all potentially appable characters and the threads that did get anywhere were often really awesome. Sometimes you can entice somebody to app in, sometimes that's all you'll get out of it.

I'm not a fan of them in general either but considering this could invite more new people in? I think I might be beneficial. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all.

maybe i've just been burned by fourthwall events being nothing but excuses for people to bring out crack characters and be ooc.

i hope we do get a lot of new blood though. kinda curious how the app period is going to coincide with the open event though? since by the time the open event starts, people wouldn't be able to app anymore until april. so they'd have to make their decision through the tdm anyway.
