rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-27 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)Kanji is waaay more than just pure violence, ~is he gaaay~ jokes and cute stuffed animals. He's someone whose really struggled with self esteem issues regarding his hobbies and where he fits into Japanese society. He doesn't quite fit the mold expected of him, much less look the part. Its led him to pushing back against it, trying to find his footing somewhere.
Even then, he's awkward about his hobbies, his behavior and unsure of what his relationship to girls might be. Being outside of everything and skipping school doesn't give him much joy either. Kanji is in a really uncomfortable rut when you meet him in game. He's happy enough to help his mom, but he's likely doing terribly at school and has about 0 close friends. He's a lonely teenager with a lot of defensive reactions and anger since he's grown up being seen as strange.
Remember first and foremost he's a teenager who is really struggling. He's not in dire need, but he's awkward, nervous and kind of freaked out at the possibility of who he might be/who he's expected to be.
