rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Wrapping your puffy down coat around yourself, you determine to fight superstition with science. The other anons nod approvingly.

You take out a variety of meteorological implements and thoroughly take the fog's readings. As expected, it is fog, and the weather is otherwise chilly, humid, and promising rain. The fog appears to be unconcerned with your penetrating inquisition.

You hear a strange, muffled panting sound somewhere behind you.

i pull out my phone and use its flashlight function to see what this is all about. probably just a dog, but it might be some mouth breathing creeper.

i also get my car keys in between my fingers just in case, because my mama didn't raise me to be no dumbass

The dim blue light of your phone penetrates a few inches of fog and turns up nothing. You have generated a considerable amount of noise and light whilst attempting to arm yourself.

The panting draws closer. There's a strange smell in the air, musky and proteinacious, like a wet dog. You feel heat somewhere to your left.

well, that's odd. i'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of this, though. let's run some tests to distract from the disappointment that it's apparently not a dog
