rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i really really hate it when people who are into a musical do this kind of shit

it's why to this day i have no desire to see rent or wicked, because i lived with a bunch of theater geeks in college who would not stop fucking listening to or singing the songs

like i'm happy y'all are enjoying it that much but maybe consider that people around you are sick of hearing the soundtrack on loop for the 3,000th time and put some gd headphones on

i hate wicked, avenue q, and rocky horror because my friend played the soundtracks and sang along all. the. mother. fucking. time. it was genuinely hell on earth

it has been probably 6 years since we've even talked or seen each other but i still feel a rage deep inside me whenever i hear any of those songs

and it sucks because i've heard nothing but praise for all of those shows, but i still have a visceral "NOPE" reaction to them due to oversaturation- plus i know they would never ever live up to the hype at this point. wicked especially because ye gods, idina menzel is not that great.
