Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

Here's a thought, next time the mods propose an event idea, you tell them you have a problem with it. That way you don't complain about the mod team for not being mind readers after they've announced and organized it thinking people would be excited.

We have. Many of us have. I know of a few people who spoke to the mods about their displeasure of the event. I plan to myself as well. It's not gonna change anything though. The event is still happening and the ones who have been looking forward to a Thras event are still left disappointed.

But no go ahead a keep defending your precious mods. I'm sure that'll help.

Not defending the mods but not everyone is disappointed in the event as there seem to be plenty of people who are interested.

Obviously not everyone is going to be happy or enjoy every event, this one didn't do it for you and some others; but, have you enjoyed the others so far? Maybe every other event will be to your liking.

Sorry this one isn't but that's the way life (both rl and rp) is sometimes.

If this wasn't the first time we're seeing Thras I wouldn't be nearly as disappointed but considering it is that's why I feel more disappointed than usual. Sure i enjoyed the other events but that's the problem. All the others Arehtei got these super awesome events and all the aligned characters got cool stuff to do but Thras aligned characters get.... this....

Feels bad, man.

Um, anon, it wasn't a proposal. It was an announcement that it was going to happen. Either "complaining" or bringing a concern to a mod wouldn't have changed it. The cogs were already turning.
