You think I'd catch much flack if I apped a female character here but made it clear that playing femslash makes me uncomfortable? I've noticed that most people tend to default to bi in this game.

Probably not. Just don't avoid tagging women at all because of it, there is a lot of plot to this game besides sex and you would be missing out on a lot of good non-sex CR.

Avoiding women in all interactions, even gen ones, is when you go from 'person who plays M/F' to 'cockhop'.

No one will mind unless you outright avoid female gen CR or make that hard to get. Thaaaaaat would look questionable. Sometimes the best CR in a smut game is the GEN CR.
