rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

starting again from square one after what's going on four years out of the journal role play scene. i'm mostly excited to be going back to a hobby i love, but at the same time pretty nervous because it looks like the only way you get any action is if it's with friends/a clique and i've only kept in touch with the rp friends i've had enough in common with to add on facebook and meet irl (who themselves aren't into rp anymore unfortunately). i'm looking around to see what's changed since 2011/12 and putting out feelers for fandoms i'm in ☺️ hopefully i find people to play with! but in the meantime, how hard is it to get back into? am i completely screwed if i don't have a plurk?

no, but it can make spur-of-the-moment plotting more difficult and you block yourself from potential cr you might not have gotten if you didn't talk to or friend people on plurk. if you forego it you'll just have to be more proactive with pming people and talking to them on cr memes

The meme's scene dried up a lot, so I'd say you're more screwed if you don't know anyone and don't have a game unless your fandoms are really popular right now.
