rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

will it follow in-game events or just be more loose?

At the moment, I'm imagining something very loose and open. As a mod, I'm not approaching this like I would running a game so much as a space where GW2 RPers can find each other and just RP out whatever they want.

So far I'm picturing making monthly open mingle-style posts that might be festival-based (e.g., Halloween, Wintersday, Dragon Bash, etc.), setting based (e.g., Verdant Brink, Lion's Arch, and so on), or something more meme-like (like a "Wrong Recipients" meme or "Transformation Tonic Taster Test" meme, etc.) I would like to try and make those open posts correspond with current in-game events wherever possible.

But outside of that, I'm hoping players will make individual posts for whatever interactions they're itching to play and from whatever point in canon they want to play. If someone has been dying to play out a scene that takes place during, say, the battle for Claw Island, or has an idea for something that takes place during the Queen's Jubilee, or wants to play out a scene relating to very recent events, I would like this comm to be flexible enough to allow for all these things to take place.

So my hope is that players make it clear when/where/what they're RPing, basically.
