No

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

isn't that what a transvestite is?

no that is not what a sweet transvestite from Transexual, TransylvaniaHaHa is.

A transvestite is someone that gets pleasure from dressing in appear of the opposite sex.

i don't think pleasure has anything to do with it. i think it's just what it is. the term for a man who was straight but wore women's clothing has always been transvestite, trans for... well, trans, and vestite for vestiges. switch clothing, crossdressing, w/e. a guy who's straight and married and wears his wife's panties or heels isn't gay or secretly wanting to be a woman. he just likes women's clothing and is a transvestite.

but on a side note, i was totally thinking of rhps when i posted the question.

but seriously, i know people bring up j edgar hoover as wearing women's undies, but i think the best example i could give would be eddie izzard. (though he calls them 'men's clothes' because he's a man and he's wearing them) http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/interview-his-chance-to-play-the-straight-man-eddie-izzard-the-tv-comedian-who-doesnt-do-tv-may-have-landed-his-first-dramatic-role-in-david-mamets-new-play-but-hell-never-lose-his-kink-1422464.html

interview there if you're interested.

sexual gratification isn't the entirety of it. that's like saying everyone that likes chocolate is a chocoholic. pleasure and sexual gratification are different things, though they can overlap.

either way, a guy that's straight that wears women's clothing for whatever reason is already a transvestite. it doesn't mean they secretly want to be women.

i don't think being straight has as much to do with it as being cis

you're both idiots
