What's the pace like? How hard or easy is it to get CR if you tag out? What are your opinions on the events? Any playerbase preferred character type (characteristics/medium)?

1) The pace is medium-ish, I think. Sometimes there will be a lack of current posts on the actual network but it's because everyone's backtagging. The game usually dies a little right before events as everyone prepares for it (the events are pretty all consuming and engaging) and after the event goes up the next week and a half people are usually focusing on that. Then it goes to chill SOL-y stuff for a bit until the next event. There's definitely always something to do though.

2) It's really, really easy in my experience. I don't post or top level too much but I tag around a lot and everyone's really willing to tag. There's not too much threaddropping going around either. I'll consistently have 30+ threads going and sometimes 10 of those are still from the last event. Most of the players see threads through and are pretty open if you tell them that you want to continue some CR. Oh, you didn't ask this but I thought I'd mention -- the mods seem really, really open to handing out metaplot to anyone who asks. If you look through the FAQ a bit you can see it and I know a few people have some player plots going on with mod involvement. If you want to app someone to get into the metaplot, you should have a fairly easy time of it.

3) I like the events! I think the mods balance funny/horrifying pretty well since there's always a chance to traumatize your character while also a chance to embarrass them in every event. I'm not a fan of horror or grimdark serious RP after doing it for so long, so I'm glad the mods are keeping the tone light while also continuing a pretty engaging plot. I'm excited to see where it goes since the current event seems to finally be bringing up the elements into the game. I'm also hoping we'll be able to see outside of the colony soon. Oh, and the NPCs are really, really funny too.

4) We have a lot of animes and video game people but people will tag anything. I know we have a few live action people who do fairly well. There's not really any strict medium divide or anything, just that no one's really apped anything other than animes and video games. I'd personally like to see more live action for more variety but it doesn't really matter. As for characteristics, I can't say for certain. We have a lot of good guys so maybe bad guys? I'd also like to see people willing to band the characters together but that's not really a characteristic. I definitely want to see more adults, not that we don't have a lot of good, active ones already but there's still more teenagers. Honestly, I'd just go for whoever you want because even the most taciturn/standoffish characters still get a lot of CR in this game.

agree with above anon that the pace is pretty medium. depending on the event, it could get crazy stupid fast, but the current one is truckin along at the same medium pace.

tagging out is the best way to get cr. a post now and then helps though - there's a big chunk of characters I didn't even realize were in the game because they only really do event logs and never have a more public presence.

I'm eh on the events personally. some of them were way too cracky for my taste, and I din't app into a crack game, so I stayed far, far away. the new mod team seems to be reining that in though, so I look forward to more meaty events.

idk about preferred type. above anon is correct that it's ridic anime-heavy right now but shit I'd love to see more LA. especially rebellious types, antiheroes, people who aren't going to network about their cybuddy pets and their jobs.
