Psycho Pass

I haven't watched an anime in what feels like ages but I do like Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and the similar plot is literally all I know about the show.

Well it has that cyberpunk dystopia aesthetic which was pretty nice but just to warn you it has gore/various nasty shit, a brilliant puppetmaster villain and some setting-related plotholes/ridiculousness so it just depends on how much you're ok with that. I loved some parts of it but the rest was pretty eh. Your call.

anon above really isn't exaggerating the ridiculousness. at one point the protagonists brainstorm for how to catch up with the antagonist by posting to a forum on the internet.

psycho pass is basically, in show form, that one college freshman who thinks he's really smart because he read his entire summer reading list, you guys, and memorized some quotes!! plus some gore, but the gore is honestly more funny than anything.

ime if you've read a lot of dystopian fiction you will recognize every single reference and quote used in this show, and thus psycho pass will bring absolutely nothing new to the table for you

i more or less watched for the characters i liked and laughed at the ridiculous plotholes. it's entertaining and pretty and at least not as mindlessly stupid as this medium is capable of, so eh, might as well give it a try

it's super ridiculous grimdark.
