Please understand

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

sucks for the dog, but it's the owner's fault.

accidents happen you autist

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, and? if the dog had ran into the road and hit a car it'd be dead.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
been hit by. been hit by, not hit a goddamn car.

did we get an influx of esl or something?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
no, i just forgot a single word, which happens when you are typing replies in like 5 seconds with no proofreading.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
two words, anon. been and by. that makes it a completely different sentence. one is the act of the dog hitting the car and the other is the act of the car hitting the dog. might want to clarify that.

and this not proofreading shit is happening too often and everywhere. i've seen a huge uptick in *sa "oh, i meant ____" in both here and wg and most of my bakerstreet tagbacks are littered with typos. fucking up here is one thing, but could you guys please take the two seconds it takes to make sure you're actually sending a legible tag? kind of makes me not want to play with someone if they can't do the basics of what's required in a reading/writing hobby.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
i believe you

i consistently get the shittiest tags from native english speakers

+1

(Anonymous) 2015-07-20 03:10 pm (UTC)(link)
me too, and i'm also esl

go figure

(Anonymous) 2015-07-21 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
i get shitty boring ones from english speakers but considering the sheer number of people who are from america and canada it's not surprising that because there are more of them i get more good and more bad

i get shitty tryhard purple prose from esl (especially asians, especially asians that are supposedly literature majors and ~writers~) and generally some of the worst
