Don't know where else to put this, I'm sorry. Don't wanna make a plurk about it and look like I'm grabbing attention or whatever. Anyway, I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

Okay, so I woke up at ass o'clock this morning with really fucking bad abdominal pain. I could barely move, and when I got up to pee (an attempt to relieve... pressure? Idk but i got up) I felt super nauseous and could barely stand up straight. The pain subsided in a little over an hour, and I went back to sleep.

After waking up, the pain was mostly gone, but now it's replaced by discomfort in the same general region, accompanied by random mild nausea . Abdomen is tender, excessive/fast movement, and pressure on it, however slight, hurts. Feeling a little constipated too. Kinda like you do when period shits happen. That kind of pain.

All of this is aligned with my actual period which is coming up, but I have never felt pain/cramping this bad before in my life (in my mid-20's now), so it might be just a really bad case of PMS or something more. Should I wait, or say something?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
doctor. it could be something like appendicitis, in which case, the longer you wait, the worse it gets and you can get sepsis if it bursts.

ayrt

Shit, sorry, I completely forgot to mention it before, I've had appendicitis before, and had my appendix removed, so that might not be it. The pain from then was localised more on my right back then, and this is more... geez, I guess everything below my belly button, but above the crotch.

But thanks anon!

has the pain moved to or concentrated to your lower right abdomen?

if not, then congrats, you probably don't have appendicitis

sounds it like could be period cramps, but since you say your period is coming up and is not actually upon you, that's probably not it

could possibly be something you ate that disagreed with you, and is now fucking around with your system. that's happened to me before, and the weird lingering pain that comes and goes sounds pretty familiar

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Alright, note, thanks anon.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
go to the doctor i fucking hate you

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, thanks, but your beef. What is it.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
WE'RE NOT DOCTORS THAT'S MY BEEF. stop putting your wellbeing and possibly your life in our fucking hands. you can tell us your symptoms but how are we supposed to know what's wrong? we can't run tests on you. we can't help you. fucking go to someone who can.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Jesus christ I was asking for an opinion on what to do, not for a fucking diagnosis.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
that's what you should do. that's the advice you get. you should go to a doctor and not ask us. if it's worrying you enough that you feel the need to ask complete strangers in the internet for advice, you're worried enough for a dr visit

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
when your body doesn't feel right in an extreme way you go to a doctor. that's always the answer. why the fuck do you need advice on what to do that is literally always the answer.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 07:13 am (UTC)(link)
and our opinion is go to a fucking doctor because we aren't a fucking doctor and you don't fuck around with severe abdominal pain

seriously, this should be common sense

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
I have IBS and get BAD abdominal pain and nausea on the rare occasion it flares up during my period. I didn't even know I had it until a while ago because I only ever got noteworthy stomach pain once every few months but yep. Not everyone with IBS gets it to a severe extent.

Endometriosis is worth looking up too. You can develop it later in life.

However the best advice is to see a doctor.

when something like this happened to me, it turned out to be kidney stones

head to a doctor anon

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
doctor IMMEDIATELY. you do not fuck around with abdominal pain, even if you've had your appendix out.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-16 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
echoing doctor.

i started throwing up on the first day - usually without fail - after a single time in which i thought was a bad mixture of meat and chocolate. i basically have the exact same pain as you on the first day.

i only have to take a bit of medicine and a heat pad just in case, so don't freak out and consider the worst possible situation.

i hope things get better for you soon, anon.

Try eating something light first. I've had cramps like this before and it goes away once I get something with calories into me. Even some juice or non-diet soda can do it.

If that doesn't make it go away, then get with a doctor.

i've had similar symptoms and it was because my colon was temporarily blocked, likely from a lack of dietary fiber. i had painful abdominal cramps and nausea until i was able to force out the blockage.

definitely see a doctor though because i really have no idea what it could actually be.

lmao the anons being bitches about this are embarrassing. but yeah you should go to the doctor for sure. i waited and my appendix exploded and it happened again, different area of pain during my period and i ended up losing a shit ton of blood. so yeah get it checked out! better safe than sorry.
