are there any good daredevil players anywhere? i'm asking for Reasons

Most of the ones to be found on Bakerstreet are pretty decent by varying degrees. Most of them have their threads listed in their journals too, so you can shop around for quality. What's your reason?

I just finished watching and I'm itching to throw my characters against some daredevilers is all! I've got so many ideas, anon, so many.

beatings is always on point, and

blindstrike is really fucking badass too, but the latter is very into slow tagging. absolutely works for me and my heinous work/life schedule, but it might not work if you want really rapid fire tags.

other matts are pretty good too but those two seem to capture his personality really well?

i've seen a few claires around i've been meaning to tag, though there's only one karen around lately so not much variety there. her player is very sweet regardless.

i'd love to see more fisks, foggies (

avocabro i think is great) and other people too though.

finally, i play matt as well but lmao other people do way, way better with him and as it is i've been having way more fun throwing my character at dd casts. good luck with your search!

It's pretty awful quality but there you go, fellow anons.

BUT. I will agree with one of the anons above. I went in with low expectations but it was actually a very enjoyable movie. I'm not familiar with Ant-Man in the comics but the movie itself was definitely entertaining.

it's a really enjoyable film anon. i'd recommend seeing it in a real movie theater because a lot of the action scenes are really awesome and i think seeing it on the big screen really enhances the experience.

I've seen some people, specifically on tumblr who says the film is problematic because of how it uses stereotypes and that one scene where the hacker goes, "it's the work of the gypsies!" I never knew gypsy is a racial slur.

to avoid the rabid wank this will bring up, yes, gypsy is a slur. the correct term is Romani, but gypsy and all offshoots (to 'gyp' someone) are intended as racial slurs against them. unfortunately, it's so inundated in our culture as the actual terminology, most people aren't aware of it. add to that, some Romani don't give a shit if you call them gypsy and some will take incredible offense to it and there's a world of mixed signals.

basic line though is the correct terminology is Romani. the alternative is derogatory, intentional or otherwise.

However I do want to postulate that the word gyp really does lose it's derogatory meaning when society loses the memory and credence of it. Sorta like how the word Jew is actually derogatory and it barely pisses anyone off.

depends on context. i was by a jewish guy when someone in line ahead of us said 'what're you doing, trying to jew me?'

yeah... that was not a happy ending. gyp itself is still derogatory to people that know it. i'll agree that ignorance is the majority reason why it and gypsy still get used, but stubborness is also why it still gets used after enlightenment because 'whatever. no one knows what it means anyway'. it's not like some of the other slurs that are more well known and more taboo to say, but honestly? it should be.

before i realized where it came from i had someone politely ask me not to use it, thus clueing my in. deleting it from my vocabulary hasn't negatively impacted my life any. there are plenty of functional synonyms out there for "swindle" without racial connotations

Post Credits Scene
Falcon and Cap are in some kind of basement with Bucky, who is wearing normal clothes and has his metal arm in a vice. Cap says "what to we do." And Falcon says something like "If only this had happened a week ago. Should we tell Stark?" And Cap says "No, the accord won't let him help us." Then Falcon says, "I think I know a guy who can." Cut to ANT-MAN WILL RETURN.
