the tone has been a little darker for the last two big plot arcs - there was a lot of stuff with the mirror barge, which concluded with the mirror barge dissolving out of existence, and then stuff with Arthas trying to kill the admiral and almost barbecuing a planet. The admiral was MIA for a while and people got to joyride with his powers for a bit, but now he's back. THAT SAID, I think the mods are trying to steer it back a little more towards angst-optional adventure stuff. See: dinosaurs. The pace has slowed down a little bit, we're shifting to events every 3 or 4 weeks instead of every 2, although there's still plenty of player stuff going on. Also, we're officially comm-based as of this month.

Man who even counts as newbies?? I think of Rikki and Pietro and Tucky as awesome new people but Rikki and Tucky have both been in several months. We JUST got a TOS Kirk that I know from other games back in the day who's excellent, I'm super excited.
