villain =/= rapist

just because someone's cool with murder/torture/etc doesn't mean they go out and rape people. i'm so sick and tired of that being a Thing people assume. just because someone does Bad Thing 1 doesn't mean they automatically thing Bad Thing 2 is also fine, especially when dealing with rape.

they weren't saying all villains would do it, though? they were saying a hero complex and being a rapist aren't mutually exclusive, which is fair enough i guess

still I hate when the justification for someone being a rapist is "well, they're a villain! villains do bad shit!" which is how their comment sounded to me.

it sounded more "being a rapist and thinking of themselves as a good guy aren't always mutually exclusive" to me
