(Anonymous) 2015-06-02 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)I probably would have liked it better as a standalone game but the ending was so rushed and the shoehorning of the CT characters at the very end as ghosts out of nowhere to drop the plot (and Crono! Having a fucking monologue! Why this), the world conflict tie-in made no sense (how did the most incompetent villain from the first game ruin the world?? you guys), the Schala stuff was weird, they didn't even stick to their guns with Magus, just

The game was beautiful at the time and the music is still gorgeous but the story was just so badly handled I'm still angry about it sixteen years later.
