rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I don't really think I have 'close friends' on here. I don't know anyone in RL and I don't usually share all my personal deets beyond where I live and maybe something that I might like/dislike (on Plurk). I play with the ones I'd consider friends, but I also play with new people/strangers. I think if my bestie did happen to rp, I wouldn't mind playing with her because we'd probably laugh about things or be more goofy with it than I might be with a stranger (eg: trying to play with fruit and a banana breaking off and then panicking trying to get it out and yelling "PUSH. PUSH. BEAR DOWN." "DON'T TELL ME TO FUCKING BEAR DOWN. I'M NOT IN LABOR." "YOU COULD BE. YOU'RE HAVING A BANANA SPLIT. GET IT?" "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!")

I don't think I really take how well I know someone into consideration. Only thing I do is check what they are/are not okay with before playing.
