rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I've gotten so many boring ass tags from two bit characters, and it makes threading with them a chore instead of a hobby. This game is such a mix bag when it comes to quality.

It really is and I do think a few could use to polish their writing skills before characterization. I'd rather play with someone who is fun and OOC than someone who is IC and boring. IC and fun of course is preferable but I'll take fun over IC if I can't have both.

tbh I think this is exactly why we need this HMD. Even if you're canonblind, you can still give tips on how to improve their writing and how to spruce up their tags in general. HMDs aren't just about ICness.

I worry I'm boring sometimes, and I already know most people don't know my canon, but if people do find me boring I'd appreciate tips on how to improve, or at least someone saying what specifically is boring so I can think about how to improve it.
