Isn't being born intersexed like on special snowflake unicorn levels of rare tho?

it's very rare, yes, and there are zero cases where there are two distinct sets of functional genitalia.

actually, being born *some* kind of intersex isn't that rare, statistically, 0.1-0.2% of infants are genitally ambiguous enough to attract medical attention

and then there are people with chromosomal or hormonal conditions that make their biological sex complicated that don't even get noticed at birth

one or two in a thousand doesn't sound like a lot, but that's like 300,000+ people in America alone

but yeah the kind of exact half-and-half chimerism that would give you one ovary and one testicle is super super rare
