rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. characters you've picked up or thought of picking up just because you really wanted to use a specific username, a certain power in a really particular context, see certain cr, etc. tell 'em.

i'm starting this thread mostly because i just remembered that i wanted to try

danganroleplay sometime and once entertained the idea of apping leon kennedy or ashley graham from resident evil if i couldn't pick another character just for the sake of making the username "d734".

last year i googled around to see if there were any canons about the CIA that were appealing to me purely because i wanted to play a CIA agent and use Weird Al's "Party in the CIA" as my icon keywords

i did but i don't get showtime so i never watched it (i never ended up watching anything because of this actually)

i might check it out someday though. i have ex-government family members who loved it.

I've picked up characters because friends were like "CHECK OUT THIS CANON YOU'D BE SUCH A GOOD X!", I've picked up love interests because my girlfriend played the other half (and encouraged me to be the X to her Y, I didn't invite myself), I created two OCs to play in game settings, and I played a My Little Pony character because I thought of a super good username that wasn't taken.
