Anything in particular you want or just literally anything?

Literally anything. I've got a good, strong idea already, but I'd like to make sure I've got all my bases covered.

Plus I might have missed some things or gotten some stuff wrong so. "orz

I'll keep it brief, then.

He's honorable to an actual fault: his honor is part of the reason why he dies because he operates expecting honor from a war which has the premise of 'seven mages who really want something and are typically willing to shank six to thirteen other people to get it are chosen to fight it out.' He's a nice guy. Loyal in a paradoxically selfish, yet selfless, way: he just really wants to be a good knight for someone and doesn't really care who that someone is. He'd draw the line at Uryuu, I'm sure, but he'd serve Waver, Kayneth, Tokiomi...it's all good and he'd behave in the same way for the most part for all of them and treat them in the same way. This is both a good thing and a bad thing.

You might also want to watch the Einzbern Consultation Room episode featuring him if you haven't already. Although if you do, keep in mind that it's comedy so you really shouldn't take it too seriously. Like, you seriously shouldn't take it too seriously. If you wrote it into an app I'd say you were doing it wrong. But, it also might work as a good baseline for you in regards to how he views certain participants after his role in the war is over. Specifically I'm thinking of Sola-Ui, Kayneth, and Saber. And it's entertaining.

YO I saw the anon above's comment and just wanted to add something from the "absolute victory for team lancer" thingy from the f/z anime visual guide handy dandy encyclopedia because it seems relevant to Diarmuid's loyalty problems:

"Kayneth must not let his Servant recognize such things as honour on the battlefield or knights' pride. He must let Diarmuid realize that the Holy Grail War was merely dirty chores that needed to be done."

"In order to fulfill the previous item, Kayneth must avoid any contact between Diarmuid and Saber with his best effort."

so theoretically Diarmuid fighting without honor would be possible! which makes sense to me, he was a soldier during his life, even if it happened to be during ye old mythic chivalry times. too bad for him he needed to play a role in urobutcher's greek tragedy.

...which makes me feel like adding, I guess with any character from f/z you've gotta... consider them in a more "normal" context, "how would [x] have acted if events/other characters hadn't been deliberately positioned in a way that would elicit that reaction from them?"
