rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i realized that i hadn't seen a plurk for a week or so from someone i really liked and thought i was on good terms with so i got a little worried and went to check their timeline and they'd unfriended me

now i feel all gutpunched because we had CR and i'm wondering if i just got swept in a plurk cut or it was deliberate because of something i did (because i personally never plurk-cut people i have CR with in case we want to plot and i'm trying to tell myself that other people don't necessarily see it that way but...)

and i don't want to be That Person who vagueplurks about it so i'm gonna be an anon tittybaby about it i guess.

send them a pm? even if they avoid confrontation or you don't get an answer at least you'll have done something about it

Do you plurk a lot about certain fandoms? Maybe they don't like those fandoms.

did you ever actually talk on plurk? i cut people i don't ever speak to because we never use it for plotting anyway

god damn being unadded on plurk isn't anything personal, you could still be on good terms with them. if you didn't talk often, didn't have much in common, and didn't actually use plurk for plotting, then well that's why you got cut. some people like to keep their lists a certain way and being clipped from that list doesn't mean they suddenly hate you.

be honest and genuine and if you really liked them just say hey you really liked them and would you mind if i readded you? because if you aren't really talking to them or you ignore them in your plurks they're going to remove you. maybe you don't realize you're doing it but you might have been.

as long as you didn't have a big argument with them or post something really stupid, you probably just got swept out in a plurk cut

which isnt a big deal tbh. im pretty sure like 95% of friend removes on plurk arent motivated by hatred and vitriol. if i notice that im always muting someones plurks or we dont talk or whatever id just rather remove them than keep them on my timeline.
