rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I wasn't meaning that they owed me or anyone not in their cast a thread I just don't think it's a good idea to do on memes, which are supposed to be casual and pretty ota. When memes are slim pickings as is these days it's kind of shitty to see posts like that is all, especially when it comes to strict gen memes. I get why you might only want characters yours knows for smut or serious stuff but if you're completely opposed to having a random going on a picnic or playing carnival games with yours then idk... seems cloistered af.

imo this is one of the reasons people are shying away from memes

when general expectations are on par with games, social culture included, there's no point in playing in them

i know the meme troll of wg was likely just that, a troll, but they voiced a lot of things that i'm pretty sure some people actually feel in terms of 'stay out of my memes if you have games/this is all i have/you people piss on everything'. memes have always been low priority, low pressure, and supposedly fun. if you want something more, you take it to a psl to carry it on. or you join a game.

or you play wherever the fuck you want as long as you're not breaking comm rules, and people mind their own fucking business about who's playing with whom.

memes aren't supposed to be anything, op. it's not the fault of someone that wants to play something more limited that bakerstreet is slim pickings. memes are public domain. unless someone is playing something truly trigger-causing, there's no reason to take it to a psl other than preference and privacy. and that still doesn't negate them possibly looking for new psl partners with castmates. feels kind of like you're shitting on their preferences because they don't match up with yours. there's people policing gender preferences as well lately and it's getting dumb. memes can be open, yes, and they usually are for the most part, but if one or five people posting limited preferences cause you stress and makes you feel like they're somehow abusing an open play system... i don't know what to tell you, man. you need to just scroll past and find someone else to tag.
