So, what are folks feelings on Syndicate now that we know things? Thoughts on possible plotlines? Things you hope for (despite constant let down lbr) with Modern stuff?

I personally am looking forward to ziplines and playing grand theft carriage. I hope Evie has massive eyerolls for her brother and is more "brains of the operation" and give me more Shaun and Rebecca.

Gimme at least some Rebecca after unity. Girl had no spotlight at all.

Worried for Shaun's sake but I'm literally so disappointed and expecting so little I can't be harmed but only pleasantly surprised when this game comes out.

Some things look cool—I enjoyed Unity's playstyle, so that + being able to whistle again + more use of the environment looks fun to me. Nothing has me super excited so far, but it looks enjoyable enough, and more interesting stuff might get teased later, we'll see. Assuming Evie is indeed playable, I will choose to be her every second I can.

Top hats are also cool, I'm happy about those.

from what i have read, evie and jacob are mutually playable. you can switch between them at any point in the game and they each have their own storyline missions.

victorian london is kind of eh............. to me because could they even pick a more cliched setting, but i'm excited for the dual protag thing. should be fun.

modern plotline has been dumb since desmond bit it, so i don't have much hope there. more shaun and rebecca would be great tho.

I had no hopes for this game after Unity. That game sucked in everything from game play to the non-existent story.
I do think Victorian London could be interesting IF they can get a good storyline going but Ubisoft has not had a good record of being able to do that lately and they are reusing so many older AC game mechanics like taking over the districts which we have done in three or four games already that I am not excited for it. It looks like there isn't going to be anything really new. So far it looks pretty boring.
