Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Re: FAVORITE GAME PLOTS?
(Anonymous) 2015-05-13 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)i think i like how you can make them dark, you can use them to share bits of your characters they normally wouldn't reveal, or you can just pick something completely out there and run with it for some fun. if characters get to remember them in the morning all the better.
i've had a few games run these kind of plots and the ones that worked best gave players the most flexibility and authority on how the dreams would be set up and the characters always remembered the dreams, even if they didn't know whose dream it was until later. they were announced with time for plotting and writing out the dreams in advance if we wanted and that seemed to help people who weren't as sure about how to participate.
it was always fun when the game managed to tie it into the overarching plot of the game or a larger event, too, but i'll take a dream share event anyway i can get it.
