The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

is anyone else side eying that one person posting a cast mate's app for them and then posting their own? the rules say one app per person.

wait someone did that? did the player ask the mods for permission to do it?

they asked the player if it was allright to post it for them but i do not think they asked the mods since they explained it on there

...what. you can only app one character for yourself, that's what one app per person means. many games let you help friends to post their apps, i don't see the problem with this.

in a game with a cap it's a big problem and unfair to people who do not have someone to post their app for them

theyre probably counting canon oc apps on the other page

the only number mistake they made so far was to count a challenge app as one of the slots

weren't challenges not going to count to the total? one of the oc touken ranbu apps is a challenge and also got tagged with a number

no. you can app by proxy in most games with caps on them, especially ones that are time sensitive. a lot of mods realize that hey, sometimes people have to work/sleep/eat/exist away from the computer right when apps open and basically punishing them for not being glued to the computer isn't fair. their schedule might make it so they're never there right when apps open. having someone do it by proxy is not only not unheard of, but preferable for most people. and that person still had to be there to get their own app in along with their friend's. not like they demanded special attention or hacked their way into butting in line.

no but I am side-eyeing you for thinking that players with real life obligations during the first few hours of the app period shouldn't have a fair chance at apping

man i hate that the apps open at gmt it is such an awkward time to try and get stuff in

the thing that gets me about it is that it says 12am GMT on both the reserve and app pages, but google tells me that should be 5pm PST. If that's the case, then both reserves AND apps opened an hour early this round.

using the site they linked to, i think they meant gmt+1, then times match

i think it's perfect for once. not everyone lives in the us and as someone in the uk i don't think it's fair for the rest of us having to get up at 5am in the morning to put an app in. at this time at least it's only 7pm etc for the us while europe can still get theirs in without having to get up at an obnoxious time.
