For one, background colors and background images don't seem to work for tables at all, whether you try to use the old BACKGROUND and BGCOLOR table attributes (this is generally how it's done in LJ profile codes,) or via CSS using the STYLE attribute.

I haven't had time to sit down and test multiple column layouts and figure out how to describe exactly what's broken with them (but I plan to since I need to re-do the profile codes I was making for my RP journals and games.)
