Agreed, even just surfing around and posting in this comm, it's so much easier to use.

Suggest a move to your game mods, anon. Suggest they put it to a community vote. If the big games come over here others will follow.

I know CFUD is in the process of discussing such a move and that's one of the biggest, oldest games there is.

ha ha ha how can you even say that when it consistently gets fresh players, large app rounds and has an active player base of like 100+ people. Just because it doesn't get wanky or keeps its attention insular doesn't mean it's dying, which people have been saying since... what, 2007? Yet it's still going strong.

Soul Campaign is also discussing a move that might take place next month. It sounds like the mods there have been fed up with LJ for a long time and this latest drama was the final straw.

I can vouch for this! One of the mods mentioned this offhandedly to me when we were having a conversation over IM.

I would love to see some big games move, but I'm really pessimistic that we'll see it happen, even if they're talking about it. Moving 100+ users with multiple accounts is going to be a huge ordeal no matter how stupid LJ is being. A bigger headache than working around the new comment layout for sure, and probably still bigger than staying on a site whose administration nobody trusts.

I mean I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong. But it makes so much more sense to focus on getting games off the ground over here if we want the DW RP community to grow.
