While I agree with this, I really don't think he's a huge asshole like the anon up there was saying. Like the other person said I think he's been surprisingly... sweet. In a Strider way.

We're used to Dave being quite flippant and "whatever" about almost everything; always suppressing his emotions. To see D. S. do basically the opposite is a surprise! He is still a bit flippant but he seems extremely in-tune with other people, particularly his friends. Empathetic and showing concern, which is what "compassion" is. I wouldn't amount that to being a woobie nice guy but he is certainly caring, I think.

And yet I can't say this for sure since we barely have any canon info, but I really would not shocked if it turned out to be true. However, if Strider ends up being some conniving, manipulative douchebag, I would be.
