One difference in Mayfield's premise and the one we're discussing is one of conspiracy.

Mayfield has people actively convincing people they've always been there, and there are weird references to drones and horror things that break the realism of it.

For "Domestic" we're discussing having the townies give the canon-memory people odd expressions, but not pushing them too much on it. More of smile-and-nod, clearly disbelieving thing. Nothing that breaks the suspension of disbelief.


I am pretty sure none of us want there to be an Entity Responsible and manipulating people. The emphasis from the start is slice-of-life and quietly questioning themselves.
