As for events we could have things that mimic real life "news events". Sports teams, riots, robbery, mass shootings (though that one would have to be well organized and handled with sensitivity), shitty weather.

More athletic characters can be on sports teams. Lmfao church potlucks as mass meet and greets! The annual hoe down. We could even have characters come into the game engaged and connected as the children of other families and have weddings as events.

Events don't always need to be supernatural in nature. "Cracky events" could consist of the town's teenagers/hooligans teepeeing an entire block's worth of houses.

Also a town haunted house where "Old Bill Bojangles" strangled his wife and three daughters back in the dark ages could be fun.

These are amazing and fit well.

I do like that this is a slice of life game, and it's advertised as such. It makes me happy.

Stephen Colbert could be driving on through and his car could break down and shenanigans could ensue.

Other celebrities could pop into the town for shit. Like a Justin Bieber concert lmao if we had enough characters that would plausibly be in love with him.

This is a good idea and you should feel good, anon. I like all of these ideas, and with a bit of thought any of them can be quirky and fun enough that we don't need the supernatural cracky events.

TP is my favorite so far.

what rock do you live under where a pretendy funtime game event based on a 'real life news event' like a mass shooting would be okay? are you serious?
